Ymen Berhouma

Born in 1976 in Tunis. Lives and works in Tunis.
Ymen Berhouma spent several years in France and Germany before settling permanently in Tunis, where she has been exhibiting regularly since 2006.
Self-taught, she draws on her own history and experiences to create her work. She expresses herself through a mixed technique based on collages, highlights and flat areas of acrylic paint. Heterogeneous objects are meticulously added to some of her canvases.
The artist has exhibited her work at the Musée de Montparnasse (Paris), Dar Sébastien (Hammamet), Galerie A. Gorgi Gallery, and the El Marsa Gallery (Tunis).
