Mouna Jemal Siala
Born in 1973 in Paris, lives and works in Tunis. A visual artist, Mouna is holder of a PhD Thesis in Arts and Arts’ Sciences from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne University. She has participated since 1993 in many group exhibitions in France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Alger, Bamako, Dakar, Geneva, Casablanca, Kolkata, Los Angeles, New York and Tunisia. Her project “Non à la division” was presented under the form of a book and a photo exhibition. Mouna participate in Instants Vidéos de Marseille. She represent Tunisia in the exhibition “Lumières d’Afrique” on the sidelines of COP21. She participated in Biennale of Dak’art in may 2016 with a photo-installation and in Biennale of Casa with a series of photographs. She participated in Addisfotofest Addis-Abéba december 2016 and in The Museum of La Fondation Slaoui in Casablanca. She participated with a video-installation at Jaou event in Tunisia and a serie of collage-photo at Ghaya Gallery. Mouna is co-curator for the Tunision Pavilion in Dak’art 2018. Her last participation was in See Djerba and until december in the first Biennale de Rabat with “Ulysse de la Hafsia”. This piece is exposed now at the Center Frac Val de Loire.
