Chacha Atallah

Born in 1983 in Carthage. Lives and works in Tunis.

Chacha Atallah is a graduate of the l’école d’Architecture de la Ville et des Territoires à Marne-la-Vallée in France. She has worked at Shigeru Ban’s agency and at Kengo Kuma in Japan, and has collaborated with Barto+Barto in Paris and with Marc Mimram. In 2014, Atallah  founded SLOW Edition furniture collections, bringing together design aesthetic and Tunisian know-how for its first collection. Atallah is a young and dynamic architect imposing new and daring standards on the Tunisian Design scene for both furniture and homes. Her work at SLOW comprises her much-loved Antéi stoneware tableware, the Hamlet library and the Daphné sofa as well as a number of homes in Tunisia and France. Over the past few years, she has participated in several important design fairs including the London Design Biennale and Dubai Design Week. Chacha Atallah is associated with the architect Catherine Fleury in the firm Fleury Atallah Architects, based in the south of France (Toulon).
